‘Phenomenal’ Netflix thriller that viewers can’t believe people aren’t talking about
Netflix users are taking to social media to express their excitement over a gripping apocalyptic survival series.
While fans anxiously await the release date for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, there’s another captivating drama ready for binge-watching to fill the void.
Courtesy of Studio Dragon, the series features notable stars such as Song Kang, Go Min-si, Lee Do-hyun, and Go Yoon Jung.
According to Netflix’s official synopsis, the show unfolds as humanity transforms into savage monsters, plunging the world into terror. A select group of survivors battles for their lives and struggles to retain their humanity.
But that’s not all—those who haven’t yet discovered the series are in for a treat, with two seasons already available. The first season premiered in 2020, and the second season arrived on Netflix earlier this month, on December 1.
Netflix’s description of the latest season reads: “In a world where desire turns monstrous, […] season two follows Green Home survivors and Hyun-su each fighting to survive in new places, while other beings and mysterious phenomena emerge.”
The series in question is the South Korean production Sweet Home, adapted from the digital comic of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan.
A viewer shared their enthusiasm for the series on LADbible’s Facebook Group Netflix Bangers, posting the second-season poster and praising its perfection and captivating scenes.
The post garnered over a thousand likes, with other users joining the conversation in the comments.
One viewer expressed, “Great show! I love it. Season three (the final) is coming in the summer. It’s a three ‘act’ series. Great cast!”
Another commented, “It’s incredible love it!!”
However, a third viewer shared a different perspective: “Season one was great, but season two…. Nah….. Hopefully, season three director will focus on the core of the story line.”
The general sentiment was positive, with one fan declaring, “Absolutely love this show can’t wait for season three. Season one was amazing and season two was phenomenal.”
For those still undecided, Sweet Home boasts an impressive 85 percent audience score and 83 percent Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Don’t miss out—Sweet Home is currently available on Netflix, and the eagerly anticipated season three is slated for release in the summer of 2024.
